1940 Jan 20 Well I slipped up on this Saturday, I remember vaguely being at school... Took a test - stupid - Emil doesn't like my hair "done up", it was cold when we walked home... I went to sleep on the davenport after supper.

1942 10:15 Ironic isn't it? Eleanor + I went to a Garbo movie pretty good escape - Dragged Eleanor out to school with me. We ate at the Huddle + went to moosic class.

1943 Sat Peggy writes she has another chance to audition for Let's Face It. I'll bet she makes it! Heard from Paul too. We went to the Edda party. Quite small, but not too bad. Leonard is spoiling me desperately. I won't want to dance w. anyone else. Good to know my moods can touch him.
